Project Details

Iron Realms Entertainment creates some of the most popular MUD games on the planet including Achaea, Aetolia, Imperian, and Lusternia.

Achaea is one of IRE's most popular games, garnering an audience of several thousand players per day. When we were commissioned to develop their website, the branding became the first component and would shape the design of the rest of the material.

Achaea's fantasy setting to us was visualized using lots of metal and wood in a traditional fantasy design. For the logo the circle was developed as a way to enclose the items and give it a structure. The typeface sits above on a raised integrated platform. Below we used the sun and stars theme of the game in the logo using stylized rays of a sun with the center being the globe and a curved piece to the right which mimics a quarter moon.
