Project Details

Iron Realms Entertainment creates some of the most popular MUD games on the planet including Achaea, Aetolia, Imperian, and Lusternia.

Lusternia is one of IRE's most popular games, garnering an audience of several thousand players per day. When we were commissioned to develop their website, the branding became the first component and would shape the design of the rest of the material.

Lusternia's fantasy setting is one more of fantasy mixed with modern technology, creating a unique world that was visualized using modern gadgetry mixed with gilded gold. We gave the typeface a bold appearance with the slight reflection and strong L, as well as some movement with the looping R. The tag line is set in a traditional block with curved edges to give it a somewhat classic appearance. The gold leaf shapes behind the typeface is both classic and modern at the same time, fitting with the theme of the game.
